The house rules.

Effective 5 October 2026

Wordojo helps you practise speaking and writing. Use it for yourself and treat others well; your words stay yours; AI feedback can be wrong; practice is free, and Pro and Gems add more, always at a price shown before you pay. The full terms follow.

1. Who we are, and agreeing to these terms

Wordojo (the Android app, the web app, wordojo.com and wordojo.app) is made by Neelverse Lab, a sole proprietorship of Indranil Banerjee, based in Howrah, West Bengal, India ("we", "us"). By using Wordojo you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy and app privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Wordojo.

2. A young product

Wordojo is new. Features change often, and things can break. We work hard to keep your data safe, but please export a backup now and then (Settings, Data and privacy, Export). If we ever close Wordojo, we'll tell you in the app or by email first, give you a way to export your data, and refund what the law requires for time you've paid for and can't use.

3. Your account

4. Your words stay yours

What you write, say and record in Wordojo belongs to you. You give us only the permission we need to run Wordojo for you: to store and sync your content, to show it back to you, and to send a piece of it to an AI service when you use a feature that needs one. We don't sell your content, show it to others, or use it to advertise. When you delete it, it's deleted as described on the delete-account page.

5. AI features

6. Fair use

Please don't use Wordojo to:

If someone breaks these rules, we may remove content, limit features or close the account. Where we can, we'll tell you why and let you export your data first.

7. What is ours

The Wordojo name, the ensō mark, Bubble and the other characters, the illustrations, the app and its lessons, games and exercises belong to Neelverse Lab. You may use them to use Wordojo, and to share cards and results the app makes for sharing. Classic books in the library are in the public domain; other books, videos and podcasts belong to their owners and open in their own apps or sites, under their own terms.

8. Free, Pro and Gems

9. No guarantees, and limits on liability

We provide Wordojo "as is" and "as available". We don't promise it will always work, be error-free, or help you reach a particular goal. To the extent the law allows, Neelverse Lab is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost opportunities arising from your use of Wordojo, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to ₹1,000. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be limited.

10. Claims, and the research behind them

Where our site marks a promise with a star (*), this is what stands behind it.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Wordojo grows. The current version always lives here, with its date. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Wordojo after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can stop and delete your account.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute comes up, write to us first at support@wordojo.com, and we'll try to settle it together. If we can't, the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal, will have jurisdiction.
