Support
How can we help?
Most answers are below. For anything else, write to support@wordojo.com. A person at Neelverse Lab reads every email and replies as soon as we can.
Reporting a problem
It helps a lot if your email includes:
- Your Wordojo version: open Settings, then Help and about
- Your phone model and Android version
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead
- A screenshot or screen recording, if you can
Common questions
I didn't get my sign-in code
Wait a minute, then check spam or promotions. You can ask for a new code after 30 seconds. Make sure you typed your email correctly, or sign in with Google instead. Still nothing? Write to support@wordojo.com.
The code says it didn't work
Codes are single-use and expire after a while. Ask for a new one and use the newest email. Type the digits only, without spaces.
How do I install the app?
On your Android phone (Android 8.0 or later), open wordojo.app and tap Download for Android. Open the downloaded file. If Android asks, allow installs from your browser for this one app. The full steps are on wordojo.app.
Android or Play Protect warns me about the app
Android warns about any app installed from outside Google Play. Wordojo is signed by Neelverse Lab, and wordojo.app lists the SHA-256 checksum of the current file so you can check it. If you're sure the file came from wordojo.app, choose to install anyway.
How do I update?
Wordojo checks for new versions itself and tells you on Today. You can also open Settings, then Help and about, then Check for updates. Updating keeps all your progress.
The microphone or camera doesn't work
Open your phone's Settings, then Apps, then Wordojo, then Permissions, and allow Microphone (and Camera for the Mirror). Close other apps that may be using them, such as a call or a voice recorder. The Mirror works best in good light, with the phone at eye level.
My progress isn't on my other device
Both devices need to be signed in to the same account and online. In Settings, under Data and privacy, tap Sync now; it shows when the last sync happened. Recordings never sync: they stay on the phone that made them.
AI coaching isn't answering
AI features need the internet. Check your connection, then try again. If it keeps failing, open Settings and check the AI section, then write to us with the message you see.
How do I back up my practice?
In Settings, under Data and privacy, tap Export and save the file to Drive or anywhere. Wordojo also keeps daily snapshots on the phone. Import merges a backup in without deleting anything.
Is Wordojo on iPhone?
Not yet. Wordojo is on Android first; iPhone and a web version come later.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings, Data and privacy, Delete account. Or on the web, at wordojo.com/delete-account, which also lists what is deleted and what is kept.
